Katsina road crash claims seven, police intensify highway patrol

No fewer than seven people have lost their lives in a ghastly lone accident involving a Volkswagen Golf car along the Batsari/Katsina Road in Katsina State.

The Katsina Command, Federal Road Safety Corps’ spokesman, Abdullahi Ibrahim, who confirmed the development on Tuesday, said the crash occurred about 8am on Friday, adding that the corps’ attention was drawn to it by a sympathiser who was at the scene.
